As Experience Designer, Jasmine supports the Today’s Student Experience Lab, a Lumina Foundation-funded initiative to infuse the lived experiences of today’s students into the work of designing relevant and informed futures of education beyond high school.

With 5+ years of experience working with children of various backgrounds, Jasmine brings a multidisciplinary approach to the Lab working previously as a behavior technician, student counselor, research assistant, and most recently, user experience researcher. Her point of view on education: “Learning does not occur in a vacuum. Therefore, the classroom should be a bridge between the education system and the real world.”

Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Arts, Psychology from University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and a Master of Arts, Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit-Mercy. In addition to her role at Kinetic Seeds, Jasmine is pursuing her doctorate in Educational Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
